Looking for something fun and new to do with your dog? Consider dog sports! Dogs need physical and mental stimulation which is why trying new activities is great for them. Back in July of 2024, Kristin with \u201c<\/span><\/span>For the Love of Dogs<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u201d joined us on Facebook Live to talk about their training facility and how to get involved in their many classes and competitive events!<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in Mendota Heights, MN, \u201c<\/span><\/span>For the Love of Dogs<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u201d offers basic obedience and manners\/rally classes, as well as specialized activities like dock diving, barn hunt, and nose work. <\/span>They also provide certification testing for the <\/span><\/span>American Kennel Club<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u2019s Canine Good Citizen (CGC)<\/span>. Massage, chiropractic, and rehabilitation services are also available onsite for dogs!<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

So, if you\u2019re looking for something fun to do with your dog, here\u2019s a breakdown of the three activities offered at \u201cFor the Love of Dogs\u201d:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Dock Diving<\/span><\/span>  <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor the Love of Dogs\u201d has an onsite, indoor 50-foot pool with a 40-foot dock. Dock diving is a fun bonding activity where you toss a toy into the pool for your dog to retrieve, which provides great exercise and mental stimulation<\/span>. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
