The same types of specialists exist in the veterinary profession:\u00a0cardiologists,\u00a0internists,\u00a0dentists,\u00a0surgeons,\u00a0dermatologists, ophthalmologists, oncologists, as well as specialists in critical care, toxicology, behavior\u2026.the list goes on and on. If your pet needs the care that one of these specialists can provide, your family veterinarian might refer you to a veterinary referral center. Or, if you don\u2019t have a family veterinarian, you might find a veterinary referral center online and refer yourself.<\/p>\n
